It's been months since a new figure was announced for the Buffy and Angel line. I hope there are going to be new figures in the future

I'd probably also say Wesley for Angel. As for Buffy i have no idea because they seem to of done almost all the major characters and knowing Sideshow it'll probably be one that wasn't around much. Maybe Ethan Rayne

If they release a new figure from Angel, I want Darla or Fred or Wesley or Gunn or Faith, but I really want a human Darla as the chances to have an human Darla for Buffy licence are not high, and because Darla was a really important character in Angel, and not in Buffy. If they release a new figure from Buffy, I want Anya or Tara or Dawn or human Drusilla or a new Willow (s.5 to s.7).

Either Wesley from Angel, or Anyanka from Buffy. I'd love to see Anya and Tara soon as well as Gunn, Fred and Illyria.

I would like a Victorian Darla from Angel. Or a human Darla. I think her and Wesley will be next for that line. Or maybe another human Spike.
As for Buffy, I'm hoping its either Tara (OMWF), Anya or Anyanka. If they did OMWF Tara, they'd have to do Willow too...do they still do two packs???
Anyway, my dream pick would be Tara but it'll probably just be more Angel, Buffy and Spike variants for the remainder of the year.

No, I don't want new Angel or Spike, the only one I would accept in that list is Buffy because she deserves many figures.

I'd like a new human Spike (because getting one at a good price is hard) though I'd love to see another "normal" attired Spike a Boxer Rebellion one would be cool. But I could wait to get a Wesley, Fred, Gunn or Human Darla first.

No, I don't want new Angel or Spike, the only one I would accept in that list is Buffy because she deserves many figures. Well, its not really about what we want. Its about what costs less money and what makes more money. And variants of the main characters do just that. I wouldnt mind another human Spike, Vampire Angel and a few more Buffys but I would much rather new characters. The fact is, those 3 outsell any other characters and they keep the line going. So, if we have to get a Buffy, Spike or Angel variant for every secondary character or cool monster they make then I'm ok with it. Look at the recent Angel figures...here on the board, we've been DYING for a Cordelia figure. They make one and it looks damn near perfect. Even with a low production run of 1500, she still hasnt sold out on sideshows site or any of the others shes been on. Then look at Angel...a character in an outfit thats pretty similar to a previous figure. His production run was much higher than Cordelias and he's sold out on nearly every site hes on.

I wouldn't mind if we got a new Spike, Angel or Buffy but i'd prefer other characters first. If Sideshow make Angel in premium format (which i am hoping they do) i'll deffinately be buying that

Oh god how i want another announcment!! For Angel i'd looove to see Illyria then Wes... A new Faith because the current one is icky, maybe from 'Sanctuary'. Then Fred then Gunn and if the lines still alive and kicking then ill be very pleasently surprised, a Lindsey Conner Harm and Lilah would all be wonderful but the chances are pretty much slim to nil. For Buffy I think a new 'Regular oitfitted' Buffy would really revitilise the line, perhaps from 'Chosen' 'The gift' or 'Harvest'. The Graduation Day Buffy is quite hard to come by and the PF Buffy isnt the greatest figure so a new 'regular' looking buffy would sell really well i think. I too would love to see an Anya Dawn and Tara but i think the chances are a little slim. An updated Willow is a must and i think will really bring alot of the jaded fans who were so put off by her first figure back to the line.

Expect Wesley next, period. They may shock us with a Spike or Buffy, but Wesley will be the next 'new' character.

I want anything!! Wesley would be great. I also wouldn't mind something like willow and tara from 'omwf', if only to have some 12" in bright clothes. I hope the line lasts for a while yet, there's so many characters that need doing:
wesley doyle gunn fred
tara dawn anya anyanka human darla and dru new willow and faith kendra (not likely, but i can hope) riley

Im guessing they will continue for a bit longer.

This line is slowing down. I don't expect new figure announcements until Toy Fair next month.

I would like to see soon (in order of priority): Human Darla (Angel) Wesley (Angel) Anya (Buffy) Fred (Angel) Conner (Angel) Willow (season 7 Buffy, new sculpt) For characters like Cordelia and Buffy, Sideshow should just release new outfit sets instead of entirely new figure and sculpts...

This line is slowing down. I don't expect new figure announcements until Toy Fair next month. I dont think the line is showing down too much. I think last year they found the perfect Buffy formula and we'll see them continue with it for a while. In 2004, there were 6 figures released (plus 1 SDCC exclusive), most of these did really well...especially the first versions of Buffy, Angel and Spike who sold in huge amounts very quickly. In 2005, they thought they could take advantage of this success and release massive amounts...10 figures (plus 1 SDCC exclusive) and not worry too much about quality. Some of these figures did well (Drusilla especially) but most ended up on clearance for $20 everywhere. Then, in 2006 they finally got it right. They only released 4 figures (5 if you count both Darlas as being seperate, which I do) and the production runs were seemingly perfect, the quality had improved and these figures sold lightning fast, much quicker than the previous year. I think that they've just found the right way to do Buffy. So now we'll see the line do really well and the value of figures will rise after released (like Dru, Darla and D'Hoffryn) rather than fall (like most of the 2005 figures). And they wont saturate the market with too many new figures a year...that makes fans have to pick and choose and none of them do as well as they could. I think they will release more than last year judging by the announcments of Giles, Cordelia and Lorne so close together.
