The sad part is, the statue I got had a crack in one of the fingers. It's really strange. The box I got was sealed, the styro seal, so I guess I was the first to open the box. But when I open it, I saw the glued fingers. I already filed a complaint in the sideshow site and waiting for the reply. I guess the guys in china got sloppy! I assume somebody over there got careless and broke the finger, and then glued it back and seal the box. Ever the SC sticker and the tape were undamage when I open it! the statue should never have left the factory in the first place. It was my first sideshow statue, and sadly probably my last. I would contact Sideshow! For the price you paid for this item, you shouldn't be expected to have breakage glued back on.

i have to say now that i am glad that i canceled mine. i loved it when it was first anounced, but now, hmmm i dunno, it just seems like it has been rushed and the paint looks a bit sloppy.

Those are definitely the best pictures so far.
This is the best SMG likeness I've ever seen.. well done SS.

Aside from the problems mine has (which seems to be an isolated incident), she is BEAUTIFUL! She really looks like SMG and the statue is really amazing. Sideshow did a GREAT job on this one IMHO. Hopefully, they will keep this going and offer us a Dark Willow PF.

A Dark Willow PF would just be amazing. My second most wanted next to PG Buffy!

I have Spike on order, and I'm going to get Buffy ASAP. The only other must-have PF for me is Angel. I think it will look terribly unbalanced to just have Buffy and Spike displayed. I'd like to do a triangle configuration with Buffy front and center and then Spike and Angel behind and to the sides.

I'm debating wether or not to get this. It's a lot of money, and i'd get the shits if i got one with a bad paint job or a dodgy eye or something.
I guess i'll wait to see if more people have problems. Both versions (ie regular and exclusive) are sold out aren't they?

This is definitely the best representation of Buffy ever made. I'd almost be tempted to sell off my collection to buy this one figure as the embodiment of all things Buffy! I think aside from a few slips when it comes to the paint job, she looks beautiful.

Natural lighting is always the best to take good pictures. This statue is really beautiful but I still don't like the hair, it's not horrible, but it doesn't look enough natural for me. But I don't think I will spend so much money in just a item. Maybe a day if I can find at a better price on Ebay... ;D

I got mine today and I examined it closely, everything was perfect. The Fed Ex guy that delivered actually called me before hand to see if I was going to be home, since he does have to get a signature for it being so expensive and all.

Well, I have mine in hand now. I received her yesterday. I gotta say, that despite the fact that I like the original better, this is one amazing piece! I bought all of the Star Trek premium figures and Buffy blows them all away! I am very impressed and recommend her to anyone that can afford to get her.

I received mine this week as well - review is probably for Sunday night. Quick thoughts:
While I think $250 is too much for her based on what you're getting, I suspect deals on her might not last long. I didn't realize the run size was so small - just 350 for the exclusive and 550 for the regular, several hundred if not more below the usual combined edition sizes. Buffy fans are pretty hard core, with items like the prop replicas even selling pretty well when the majority of them sucked, quality wise.
The did change the hair a bit, and the reduced the bust size. The dress may even be removable if you work hard enough - it's certainly removable enough to see that she has no nipples, and is wearing a black thong. I only checked this out because I knew the perver...uh, readers would want to know.
The head sculpt is extremely good, but I have to do some comparisons to photos before I make the claim that it's the best Buffy likeness so far. Then again, considering what we've had so far, that might not be much of a stretch.

I got mine today and I love her... the box was surprisingly huge. Pictures don't really do it justice from scale perspective (though I took one to try). Premium Format BuffyI honestly couldn't be happier with her. And even though the exclusive would have been nice (even if it was just one extra accessory), I'm glad I got the free shipping from BCC. Plus, I got #16, which is a nice low number. My only problem is I have no idea where I'm going to put her.

I got mine today; my heart was pounding like a little kid at Christmas when I was opening the box. A small piece of her hair was broken off. It’s a clean cut so I think I will just superglue it back on. I absolutely love her, I’m glad I splurged and got this. I think later I will bow down before it and worship it as a god!! I got #8 out of 500 what numbers did you guys get?

My number was 266, I wish that I would've gotten a lower number, it just seems so high. Although I really shouldn't complain too much because there is nothing wrong with her.

Numbers mean nothing - number 266 is just as rare as number 1. There's only one 266.
So they did 500 of the regular and not 550? I could have swore the edition size on the exclusive was 350, and the regular was 550...
