I collect them all. I love the 6" figures and the 12" figures are so fun to display- though you run out of room fast. I really love the busts and statues too. I guess since Hush Buffy came out so long before the Buffy line really fueled up and came in the not so easy to open boxes people forgot about her but I love the hush buffyand I like the GD Buffy too- they both look great and I wouldn't want to part with either. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I am a newbie regarding Sideshow figures, so I can't venture an opinion about popularity, but you've made me want to go check out all the Buffy figures closely. I want one, but I've only seen Prophecy Buffy, and wasn't thrilled.
As for figure sizes, I used to be totally faithful to the 6" range, because it is the classic 1" = 1' scale, which the vast majority of miniatures in the other, more "proper" miniature world (i.e. non-action figure miniature world) adhere to. You can make wonderful scenes with the universe of 1/12 miniatures, roomboxes, and dollhouses.
But then I got Spike a few weeks ago, and my antipathy towards 12" figures has melted away. Hell, I never expected to like PALz either, much less love them.
I am either a sick sick puppy, or a discerning if eclectic collector and student of popular culture. Now I must go look for those Buffys. Spike is staring me out of countenance with his bugeyes.

Welcome aboard to the world of 12", Mothperson!
In my opinion the 12" are king! Maybe because they are (duh) bigger. They just seem way cooler to me than the 6" and I kind of decided that I would only collect the 12" faithfully. I have a 6" or two but I don't feel compelled to collect all of them as I do with the 12"s. I just love them too darned much! They look more real to me (well, most of them), although some of the 6 inchers are done very well. I guess it's just a personal taste thing. Lotsa folks here on this baord collect both 6 and 12s and if I had the bucks I probably would too, but I have had to at least ATTEMPT to reign in my addiction to SOME degree.
Info is easy to get as the folks here are very nice and have lots of info to share. Of course there is the Sideshow site and it looks like you have already checked that out.
It's FUN so ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would want to have the gentlemen dolls but I can't find them at a good price (less than 30$ each) anywhere. If you can help me, PM me. Thanks ! They seem to be rather unpopular around my area and going cheap. Even then I'm hesistant about getting more than 1 because I don't like getting virtual duplicates of figures (same accessories, only minor difference to head sculpt and base). Although a trio would look good all together... ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
