The episode where he actually steals the scroll from W&H should have a good view of the cabinet in it. I can't remember the ep title though....

I think it was Blind Date. You get another shot of it in To Shanshu in L.A. when they steal it back.

Does anyone have a picture of the weapons cabinet from Angel's apartment in season 1 that this is based on? I looked through a bunch of the episode screen-caps and didn't see it. Any specific episodes I should look at? I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can get a decent screenshot of it in the very first episode of Angel. It was kept downstairs in Angel's living quarters. The outside doors are wood and not glass, so you barely notice it when it is shut, it just looks like wood paneling. I believe it can be seen in the first 10 minutes of "City of", please let me know if it is.

Just got my weapons cabinet with Waiting in the Wings Wesley and I have to say it's GREAT. Got it in a good deal too, I ended up getting THAW Lorne & Waiting in the wings Wesley for only £17. Good job Kulture Shock had all Buffy & Angel stuff half price except the new buffy line and Sunnydale High Library. Wish the library was on sale though

The glass, the top and bottom panels, the overall size... it's an exact copy. The one from season 1, is much smaller (the 'floor' of the cabinet is at hip height) and has wooden doors with a square-patterned carving. The inside, however, may very well have been inspired by the season 1 cabinet, which has the hooks, rather than the Hyperion one which had one main rack for Angel's swords.

yeah, it is a combo of the two, but I was only refering to the inside. The season 1 cabinet does not have glass doors and when you close it, it almost disappears into the paneling. MAC added the painted on glass to make it more visually appealing and it matched the Hyperion cabinet better. There was also a base that was originally designed to go with it , but DST dropped it, probably due to cost.
