Here is a letter I sent to dst...I guess I sounded more harsh than i attended..because the response that I got seemed a little short (meaning ill-tempered) in return...
Dear DST,
Is there a reason why you cannot ship the orders that are already in the system? You already have our cards on file and that sort of thing. Many of us are worried that if our MAC orders don't go out before the store goes up...that there might be snafus which lead to mac members not getting their orders filled!

We can't ship orders until they are entered into our system. We need the web store to be up and running so that we can enter these orders into our system. You'll get your orders. Whoa, that WAS sooo rude! I don't think you were rude to begin with and anyway a customer service rep should be trained to answer rude questions politely. Customers always right and all that. Wow, that response is pretty shocking. You should send it to someone else at DST, they'll most likely send you a free figure as a way of apology

I replied back saying that I was sorry if I was pushy...but that we have all been waiting so long and been in a climate of misinformation for so long that we are all a little edgy about these figs. I swear if I get one more bloody delay letter or press release I might just have to give up.

I don't think you were pushy and even so 2 wrongs don't make a right. This was cust service, right? They could have started with an apology for the delay, like that original e-mail, and then simply stated as soon as the store is up they'll enter the orders.
It was just a very rude way to answer a customer. "You'll get your orders"
Gee thanks...

I don't necessarily buy the excuse for not shipping the MAC orders. This close to implementation date, the backend database should have been done a long time ago, in which case the records could be inserted and processed at a database level. The web front end could still be undergoing tweaking & go up at a later date.
If the backend database still needs work this close to release date.....uh-oh!

I got the e-mail this morning as well. I kind of expected this to happen though. I kept thinking the whole weekend, Monday the store is supposed to open, but I'll believe it when I see it. I can understand with them having this as the first time opening an online site. I'm sure It'll be great when it's open. I'm just hoping that the store will open before May. It would kind of suck if Sideshow had sent out their Spike and Faith figures (second set, this year) before the dst ordering site had even opened for the new Willow figures to be sent out. Although I'm trying to be patient I really can't wait forever. The sucky part is I already have Money Orders made out for MAC/DST Willow Figures. I can't change the name on the money orders and can't return them to Walmart without a big hassle. They were purchased back in December, then Kathi sent them back to me and send to send them when the time was right. My question is why should I have to wait for the site to open. Why can't I just send the money order now.

I'm just a little concerned that they may push this back to May when the second wave of Willows is done. According to some other posts some retailers aren't getting their shipments until May because the larger retailers are getting most of this allotment. I just hope that they didnt make a mistake and sold all of this alltoment to larger retailers and now we all have to wait until May. I don't think this is the case because they have said time and time again they have our figures set aside, but at the same time I'm a little wary.

Shucks. I kinda wanted to order the WWW from them, but I may just settle for the one in the Spellbook set.

Don't worry guys. Diamond has NEVER sold direct to customers before, and they're obviously taking their time getting everything right. Remember when MAC went through, like, three different online store systems in just a week? They also lost all of the orders placed on certain days. I can guarantee that the new DST store will be well worth the wait. Just give them a little time. We've waited THIS long for these figures, and if you want to cancel your order with DST and get them somewhere else, just send an e-mail to customerservice@diamondselecttoys.com.

I was wondering how MAC would give them the data. At that time I would think they would have just handed them paper orders. They were in a big state of transition so I'm sure it was something like that. But even that is just data entry, no biggie, and it would certainly not affect the web front end, Just processed the orders. I think it may be a matter or waiting on the May shipment of stuff.

Sorry, But in my opinion it was. The first mass e-mail from DST is professional and polite, that other one was sooo rude. It would have been better to take the time to state: "Thank you for your patience and please be assured that you will receive your order" That's professional.

I just went to my suncoast and they had willow, it took a lot of restraint not to buy them, knowing mine will ship from DST when they get around to it. I must say even though patience was never one of my virtues, these delays are getting out of hand. I truely believe they should do something for us who ordered through MAC way back when. My luck if they do anything which they prob won't, they'll send us "Dingoes" willow or something after I paid $100 for her.

I emailed DST Customer Service asking them to change my order because I bought Season 5 Willow, Dopplegang Willow, and Transformation Willow from Media Play. I just couldn't wait. Anyway I asked them to change it to 1 Season 5 Willow (instead of 2), 2 Vampire Willows, 1 Dopplegang Willow (Instead of 2), 1 Transformation Willow(instead of 2), 2 Dark Willows, 1 White Witch Willow, and add the Willow Box Set. He (Chris Myers) did. I am so happy right now. Although taking away I think $44 or $45, I don't know how much the box set is actually going to be with the discount (if there still is one) I also asked him to add a Dingoes Exclusive Willow and he said that they aren't for sale. Now I'm hoping that they will be free for DST members for joining.

Do we know for sure if they are putting WWW on card with all the articulation?

One of last emails I got from Kathi from MAC, was the that the one on the card will be the same as the Preproduction White Witch Willow. And the articulated one will be in offered in the spell book only. And that's as far as I know.
