Here's Ask Diamond #32! Thanks to DST for answering our questions! 
With the release of Fred/Illyria, a lot of members have noticed both figures are considerably taller then any other DST Buffy/Angel figure to date. Was there a reason for this or what it possibly a factory error?
Yes, there was an error at the factory assembling the figures. During the process we took several steps to bring them closer in scale to the past releases, but we were unable to get them exactly where we wanted them.
Is there a chance we will see statues episode specific states?
Yes, we still would like to do some more statuettes. We just haven't been able to fit them in our schedule.
If the 'wall' dioramas become a standard in future figures, will peg holes be added? Or any chance of matching up certain figures that make a larger diorama (Like if you placed a Xander Cordelia next to each other but walls would form a picture)?
There will be some matching going on as we do more figures from the same episodes.
If a Spike movie is made, will you consider doing action figure for it a swell?
Yes, we would consider it, but we would have to know much more about the project before we committed.
When will Xander and Cordelia's variants be announced?
It will be a while still. All the partners on the variants have not been lined up.
How will Cordelia's variants be distributed between her Buffy and Angel appearances?
Both shows are reflected.
When will the Spike busts be released?
The first version should be out just before Christmas.
Which character will be "busted" after Spike?
We're not ready to announce that yet, but I'll give you a hint - this character has not been "busted" before.
Is the Library Playset still on schedule for a November release?
No, I am sorry to say there have been production delays and it will not make Christmas. We do have some big surprises scheduled for next week though, so keep an eye on the web site!
If the playset does well would there be a possibility of releasing accessory packs of extra books, weapons, amulets, etc... that were not released with the figures?
Yes, that's possible.
Hey DST, what are the chances of some more desktop backgrounds for us?
We're working on a refreshed design for the web site right now, so its going to be a while.
When can we see images of all the figures form the Buffy & Dawn line with their bases and accessories?
Should be very soon now. Everything is done and finalized except for a couple partners.
With regards to Cordelia, everyone is overjoyed that she's being remade. Is there a chance that she'll be remade again in the Angel line?
Now that we're re-making her, she won't be re-re-made in the MAC-style line.
When will you announce the episodes that Deluxe Angel and Deluxe Spike are from?
The next Deluxe line won't be coming out until summer, so we'll hold off on that until we get closer.
Have the globes or bookends been worked on at all yet?
We have what we think are some cool designs worked up, but just haven't been able to get the time to sculpt them. We should have some slots open very soon.
Are you aware of the delay in getting the Angel/Illyria wave to the UK?
All I can say is we loaded them on the boats headed for the UK around the same time we loaded the US boats. It seems to be that sometimes the US goes faster and sometimes the UK goes faster.
Any word on a new Serenity Series?
Not looking good.
How can fans show their devotion to properties, when the merchandising available for a particular license/property is limited? Basically, what would "Xena: Warrior Princess" fans have to do to show DST that "Xena: Warrior Princess" is a viable license for action figures?
Honestly, the best way you can impact something like that is NOT to e-mail DST or another company about it, but to go the the stores and ask for it. Go to your local comic shop, Tower, Suncoast, etc. Companies like ours are very aware of properties like that and the fan bases, but if say the buyer for TRU doesn't think it will sell, then that's that.

Glad to hear that the Angel/Fred/Illyria were accidentally out of scale. Hopefully, Buffy/Dawn and Cordelia/Xander will be in the normal scale.
I'm really glad they are not purposefully moving to a new scale. I thought that was the reason for doing a seperate Deluxe line.
Everything else is news pretty much as expected. I was really hoping for more Serenity figures, but it doesn't look good.
By the time we get the next Ask Diamond, DST may already have release pics of the Xander/Cordelia wave, but if not...
Will "The Wish" Cordelia will be the blue outfit or red leather outfit? I love both of them, but would prefer the red leather outfit. Either way, I think they are great representations of Cordelia from Buffy. Hopefully, the other variants will be from Angel: Pylean Princess and You're Welcome Cordy!

Good to finally get an answer on Fred/Angel's Scale issue and the UK Delay. But it's very sad about Serenity, The Library Playset not being in time for Christmas and no news on the variants of Xander and Cordy.

No more Cordies, beyond the upcoming wave.
It's good to know that the scale issue was just an error and not a new scale. So, it looks like Buffy and Dawn should be normal.
And it's very intriguing to know they're up to some new announcement soon.

Not to happy about the Cordelia stuff going on... betweentwo shows and over 100 episodes we are only getting 3 Ms. Chase... *sigh*
I don't care much for the deluxe, so I'm glad we didn't get any news. I am happy to see the question about the accessories being answered in good.
Question:
-When will DST start shipping to Canada?
-Would you ever put fan art onto/into the card/box art?

Sucks about Cordy, but very cool about the possible accessory packs. I am a little sad that none of my Christmas presents will actually be here by Christmas but I guess thats the way it goes.

Well, from my POV, it looks like they're not making any more MAC-style Cordelia figures, but deluxe Cordelia figures might still be a possibility.
