oh deannaB, you're pics are so great! Torrence High is such a beautiful campus. I'm really impressed on how you were able to spot the new Sunnydale High at CSUN. I've seen Northridge and that campus is huge!
I love the story of you just walking onto campus and pretending you belonged there. That's my practice, I keep strolling along until someone ask me to leave LOL.

Here's some more photos:
Wolfram and Hart headquarters, Angel Seasons one through four (when it was destroyed by zombies), is actually Sony Pictures Plaza, Culver Blvd. & Madison Ave. in Culver City, just east of Sony/MGM studios.

Assuming that at least one person looked at yesterday's batch, here's Buffy's house. It's at 1313 Cota Ave in Torrance, CA. It's a private residence, about three blocks from Torrance High School (aka Sunnydale High)
For some reason, I just couldn't get both Spike and the house in focus at the same time. I should go back sometime and try yet again.
And I remember a scrawny old cat sitting on the sidewalk across the street, watching me take photos. I guess the old kitty's a fixture there. I wonder if he/she would watch the Buffy crew film there? I didn't approach it for fear of scaring it away, but you three may have pet a cat who was petted by the stars of BtVS.

This isn't a filming location, but it's only a few blocks from both Buffy's house and Sunnydale (Torrance) High. The name is a complete coincidence, as it's been there since 1965, but considering how close it is to actual major BtVS locations, I just found it funny, and it's a good place to get a bite before sneaking onto campus, so I thought I'd throw these photos in. It's at 1321 El Prado Ave.

That's so cool, Deanna! I wish they'd filmed something at Buffy's cafe. That would have been hilarious. I like the shot of Spike looking towards the Buffy's Cafe sign, like, "What the ...?"

Angel's Crawford Street Mansion from seasons 2 & 3 of BtVS was the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Ennis house at 2655 Glendower Ave, in Los Feliz area of the Hollywood Hills, just South of Griffith Park. It's finally getting earthquake and decades of weather damage repaired now.

deannaB, Thank you so much for posting such wonderful pics. You really got a great eye for photography.
Your pics of Angel's house are so great! Like you said, the house is finally getting the much needed work on it to restore. You can tell by our pics with all the fencing and orange cones blocking it off I love Frank Lloyd Wright's work. I really enjoyed the Ennis house.

UC Sunnydale was primarily filmed at UCLA, in Westwood (roughly between Santa Monica and Beverly Hills). Sorry, no Spike this time. I really need to go back just to add a picture of him on campus. Of course ME couldn't call it UCS, because that's Stanford (although it's usually just called "Stanford"), and UCSD is UC San Diego, so the UC Sunndale logo was "UC [drawing of the sun] D"
The Ackerman Student Union building and Bruin Walk. They showed this area on the show a few times.
Dodd Hall. If you have the photo version of the Dark Horse BtVS little cardboard Popup People, this is on one side of the backdrop that comes with them.
Royce Hall, UCLA's signature building. One of the original four buildings from when the university was founded.
The walkway in front of Royce Hall. They actually filmed here quite a bit, up through season six.
Powell Library, right across from Royce Hall, also part of the original quad.
The stairs up to the main level. Buffy and Willow climbed these stairs in the opening credits.
Willow was very impressed when she saw this, but this is just the Reference level. Wait until she hits the stacks.
Imagine that there's a photo of the MAC Spike on campus here.

The Sunnydale Railroad Station (from when Dru slaughtered her way into town in "Crush" and when Dawn tried to lie on the RR tracks in "Him") is the Fillmore and Western Railroad Museum in the small town of Fillmore in Ventura County.
These are photos of Fillmore's pictures on the wall showing the filming of "Crush." So credit for these four photos goes to F&WRR.
And here's what it usually looks like, and the trains they used for filming. They run scenic excursions through farmlands and orange groves to the neighboring towns on the weekends, including dinner excursions and murder mysteries. Kinda neat.

This is the Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round, in Griffith Park. Riley and Dawn sat watching it in the episode "Shadow," and it was also just seen in a recent episode of "Bones," with Booth and Bones sitting on the same bench that Riley and Dawn did. It's at Crystal Springs & Griffith Park Dr., between the Los Angeles Zoo and the Los Feliz park entrance.
They did quite a bit of filming in Griffith Park, as does everybody else. "The Pack" had scenes filmed at the Los Angeles Zoo, "Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been" had scenes filmed at the Griffith Observatory, and "Bargaining" and and a few other episodes were filmed in random other locations.
Anyway, here's the Merry-Go-Round. It's a 1926 Spillman, with 68 horses, 4 abreast, all jumpers. In other words, pretty damn big. Over the decades, the brightly-painted horses have been slowly fading to an antique muddy brown, but they do a good job of taking care of it mechanically, if not cosmetically. That section on top is the only part they've repainted in the last ten years, as far as I can tell.

I've never been inside, but this is the entrance to the Paramount Studio lot where Angel was filmed. 780 N. Gower, Hollywood. This is the Melrose Blvd. gate. I'll have to check to see whether or not this is the one that was a gate to Pylea.
