Nice idea. I really love the pose and hair. To be honest anything is fansatic.

And Billy kind of sounds like... Willy? *shudder*

Hee, Hee, thanks Sky. Fan-satic is a great new word though. Kind of a cross between fan and ecstatic.
I'm fansatic about your comment, we should make it a forum regular!

Hooray - I seem to have sorted my photobucket problem????

My daughter decided she wanted the baby back that she had made for this piece and so here is his replacement. Not quite as much fun but I think he does the job!

Just for fun. Before I posted off Nikki and the First Slayer to their buyer, I wanted a shot of all the girls together.
I'd love to add more at a later date, a whole crowd of Slayers would be great I think.

Can we extend the deadline on this challenge, if nobody objects, I have some more ideas I'd like to try?

I think 3 months is long enough for an official challenge, smiler, but we'd all be happy to see any other figures that you make on this theme in a separate thread in later months.

If anyone feels like giving me feedback on my new website, I'd be very grateful.
It's been tiring work getting it all done, so I might have made mistakes. If you see any, please let me know, however small.

CLAUDINE - French Revolution Slayer
Betrayed by her lover/watcher, Claudine has unwittingly killed a human, after being told he was an aristocratic vampire.

The idea for the custom came from the 'Tales of the Slayer' graphic novel and the story was written by Amber Benson.
Recipe:
The head is from the female Terminator figure, legs and skirt from 30 days of night female vamp, over skirt Jonah Hex female. I sculpted over all joints, hair, and the dress neckline, sleeves and her neck. The base is from an Underworld figure, re-painted with added streetlamp, cask, boxes and scenic water dribbled with watery blood as if it's been washed from her clothing.

Wow, smiler! This is just fantastic. I think it's my favourite yet. You've got a wonderful eye, and talent, and your skill level improves with every figure you make. It's like you've been customising for years. Kudos!

Thanks Sasha for your kind and encouraging comments always!
This challenge has 'opened up a bag of worms' for me.
My plan is to work my way through the Graphic Novels and Tales of the Slayers novels and see how many others I can create.( It could take years.) I really enjoy trying to give these other girls a 'look' and personality. Re-reading the stories, I'm realising what great individual tales they all are. If only Joss Whedon had been given the go ahead to turn them all into episodes of a new Slayer series. That would have been wonderful to see!

Thanks Hansi.
The base came with an Underworld werewolf and I re-painted it and added the barrel, light and crate. All of the Underworld figures have great bases but the figures aren't very good in themselves. Unless you spot a really cheap one, its only worth buying if you just want the base.
